Young, innocent Emma gets lost, and wounded, in the middle of the woods during a snowstorm. She is rescued by Jacob—the grumpy homeowner of an isolated cabin—who favourably lives alone. While they become stranded from the ice-storm, both find that neither can fight against the cold, especially when the heat between them rapidly grows.
